Paolo G. Cordone - my interests

My interests encompass a lot of different areas. Over the years I have developed a taste for music, science, literature, technology, philosophy, and sociology.
One of my favourite topics for many years has been meteorology, as it deals with something that conditions us so much, yet that we are unable to change. Another area I find fascinating relates to human communication and in particular to linguistics.

Otherwise, I follow developments in the telecommunications industry, typography and like discussing sociological issues, especially those related to our modern technologies and their effects on society.

I adore reading and wish the day had 32 hours (or more), for I never get a chance to read all the books I want. The list of the titles which are piling up on my desk or on the night locker is growing steadily. Some of them are for the review column of First Monday, but many for my own enjoyment.
